Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the IEA and Honorary Chair of Sabancı University IICEC, met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss preparations for the COP31 meeting.
IEA Executive Director Dr. Fatih Birol stated: “I was honored to meet with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at Dolmabahçe Palace. We discussed developments in global energy markets and preparations for the COP31 meeting to be held in Antalya in November.”
